Roe Deer are primarily active during the twilight, very quick and graceful, lives in woods although it may venture into grasslands and sparse forests
It feeds mainly on grass, leaves, berries and young shoots. It particularly likes very young, tender grass with a high moisture content

best place to spot them is in fields just next to wooded areas, early morning or evenings,
some times they come out to graze just after rainfall, also watch newly planted fields
when the new shoots come through, they just cant resist them

Roe Deer are very timid, the best time to spot them is Dawn and Dusk
during the day they usually stay undercover

if you live in a rural area you may get Roe Deer in your garden, we get them regular
usually they only eat the grass, but during the winter nothing is safe

the ever expanding population is becoming a danger, many road accidents are caused by deer
running in front of cars on country roads
