A mouse (plural mice) is a small mammal belonging to the order of rodents.
The best known mouse species is the common house mouse (Mus musculus).

in rural areas field mice are also common. This rodent is eaten by large birds such as hawks and eagles.
They are known to invade homes for food and occasionally shelter
.....
if you get troubled with mice & rats there are lots of traps available, including humane types
cats are good pets and will keep the rodents at bay

if you put food out for the birds, put it out in the morning, do not put food out late afternoon
as this will attract rodents, never put cooked food out, this only encourages rats & mice
