Wow! This large Bard Owl just flew into my window as I was having my morning coffee.
He was being chased by crows and was pretty badly dazed and hurt. It at first looked 
like he had damaged his left eye but as you can see by the bottom photograph, he 
opened it up after a few minutes after I had wrapped him in a towel and put him 
in a box.The SPCA has come by and taken him away to the Wildlife Rescue Center, 
I hope he recovers soon, what a magnificent creature

Update
The owl, case #1381, a Bard Owl or Barred Owl, I found out, is still in veterinary care, 
suffering from severe head trauma, on the good side it didn't break it's wing.
I'll keep following his progress and update this post when I know more.
